Third High Level optimization project in Belgium at IVM Eeklo WtE Plant
The Waste to Energy plant IVM Eeklo has decided to implement a High Level Control system on two combustion lines. The optimization project is based on a feasibility study which has identified various areas where a FuzEvent expert optimization system shall improve the stability and increase the capacity to burn waste and produce Steam.
The FuzEvent System is taking its out spring in the same rules and control strategies as applied by the best operators on the plant and combine these strategies with the extensive experience embedded in the FuzEvent library of advanced optimization rules. The IVM Eeklo WtE plant operates two combustion lines each having a capacity of 7 ton waste/hour, the plant has already implemented advanced automation into the plant, the new system shall extend the efficiency of the operation and add the benefice from a high level operation into the plant. The new system is expected to be in operation from July 2008. The project at IVM Eeklo is the third optimization project in Belgium during the last year based on the unique FuzEvent optimization software.
