First FuzEvent system in UK for the Sita, Teesside energy-from-waste (EfW) plant

The management of Teesside energy-from-waste (EfW) plant has selected the FuzEvent High Level control system for two Vølund combustion lines. Dublix Engineering shall carry out installation and commissioning of the FuzEvent system during autumn of 2009.

The Teesside energy-from-waste (EfW) plant now operates 3 combustion lines, the FuzEvent system shall be installed on the two old lines which have been in operation since 1998 each with capacity of 14 ton waste per hour giving an annual capacity around 250.000 ton waste, the aim for the optimization project is to improve the combustion stability and thereby to increase the overall capacity of the combustion lines.

This optimization project is the first FuzEvent installation in UK and thereby an important step ahead for Dublix Engineering. The project is a continuation of a general plant improvement project where Dublix Engineering has been involved in conducting plant inspections and audits resulting in a number of detailed suggestions for optimizations and improvements the Teesside energy-from-waste (EfW) plant.
