Mark Kraftvärme

Mark Kraftvärme (www.marksvarme.se) is a Swedish biomass plant with 2 combustion lines.

Combustion system upgrade
Dublix Engineering carried out a Volund line combustion system upgrade in 2007 and 2008.
The plant is burning 4 t/h forest wood including low grade bark, producing 10 MW steam (32 bar/220 degC).

As a result of the optimization with an improoved grate operation, the combustion capacity was heavily increased (by 10-15%) and the biomass throughput has been increased accordingly.
