More Effective Boiler Operation

An ineffective boiler operation reduces the waste throughput, and reduces the efficiency of the flue gas cleaning.

The boiler operation’s ineffectiveness can be caused by residues accumulating at the surface of the boiler, creating an isolation lining and having a double consequence: a lesser steam/energy production, and  an increased temperature in the boiler

Dublix Engineering offers the following product/services to solve this problem:

• Cooling water spray mixed in the secondary air jet from the furnace roof nozzles to use as an emergency tool to control the furnace temperature when it tends to run too high in spite of the traditional control measures
• DD-Jet boiler cleaning system
• FuzEvent High-Level control system

The achieved results are:

• Improved control of boiler temperature
• Optimization of 2 seconds retention time above 850°C
• Better operation of boiler and fluegas cleaning due to better flue gas temperature control
• Fluegas temperature at boiler outlet reduced with 80 to 120°C
